Add and manage ShopBase products

Your products are the goods, digital downloads, services, and gift cards that you sell. 

As store owners, you would like to provide as much information about the products that you sell to help your customers make a favorable purchasing decision. So it is important that you add valuable information on the product pages to improve customer’s shopping experience which will eventually convert to sales.

A. Add a new product

If you've ever wondered how to add a product and what details you need to included, here are instructions walks you through how to add a product to your ShopBase admin 

Walkthrough

1. From your ShopBase admin, go to Products.

2. From the Products page, click Add product.

3. Enter a title for your product, along with additional details.

4. Click Save changes.


B. Duplicate a product

To save time when you add a new product, you might want to duplicate a similar product. You can duplicate a product and then make any changes to add the new product. 

If you want to add options to a product, such as color or size, then add a variant to the existing product instead of duplicating the product.
Walkthrough:

1. From your ShopBase admin, go to Products.

2. Click the name of the product that you want to duplicate.

3. Click Duplicate.

4. Enter a name for the duplicate product, and then click Duplicate.

5. Modify the product details.

6. Click Save changes.


C. Edit a product

After you've created products, you can edit them to change their descriptions, prices, and any other product details. Saved changes take effect immediately in your online store.
Walkthrough:

1. From your ShopBase admin, go to Products.

2. Click the name of the product that you want to change.

3. Modify the product details.

4. Click Save changes.


To edit several products at once, use the bulk editor as described in Bulk editing products


D. Delete a product

You can delete a single product, or delete multiple products at once using a bulk action. When you delete a product, it's permanently removed from ShopBase. Deleted products can't be restored. If you run out of stock or no longer want to display a product for any reason, but don’t want to permanently delete it from your store, then you can hide the product instead.
Walkthrough:

1. From your ShopBase admin, go to Products.

2. Click the product that you want to delete.

3. On the product details page, click Delete product.

4. Click Delete product.
